About PCA Services
PCA services support persons with disabilities, including the young, elderly, and others with special health care needs that are living independently in the community. Categories of service that PCAs and Homemakers are able to assist with include:
- Personal care
- Health-related functions
- Meal preparation
- Essential housekeeping
- Community integration
- Redirection and intervention for behavior & safety
PCA services must be medically necessary, approved by a physician, in the recipient’s service plan, and have prior authorization from DHS or a pre-paid health plan in the form of a Service Agreement. Additionally, PCA clients must be able to direct their own care, be knowledgeable about their health care needs, and be able to communicate their needs effectively.
PCA Choice is service option which Peaceful Care provides and serves individuals of all ages throughout Minnesota; including Hennepin, Carver, Anoka, Dakota, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington Counties. Clients who choose PCA Choice as an in-home option do so because individual clients want the choice and flexibility of hiring, training, retaining, and giving some supervision of their caregivers and chosen Care Manager/RN. We are a PCA Choice Agency and our service components include:
- Fiscal Intermediary Services
- Processing of Billing & Payroll
- Employee Background Checks
- Fidelity Bond
- Medical Benefits through Aflac Insurance

- Licensed Private Duty Nurses
- Licensed Social Worker
- Companion Care
- Homemaking Services
- A licensed Nutritionist
- A licensed Cosmetologist to come to your home
PCPO In-Home Service Provider:
Peaceful Care, LLC, as well is a PCPO in-home service provider. However, you or your loved one are not responsible in hiring, training, retaining, and giving supervision to your caregiver. As a PCPO in-home service provider, we provide our own well trained and experienced caregivers, and they include the following: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Trained Nursing Assistants (TNA's), Trained Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Trained Home Health Aides (HHAs). As a PCPO in-home care service provider, we provide you with our Care Managers/RNs.
You can best be assured using our organization that our highly skilled Care Managers/RNs have backgrounds in public health and combined with over 17-years in-home skilled nursing that coordinates within 14-days of your Service Agreement a Care Plan, and manages your medical and social needs along with your assigned caregiver. Supervision of our caregivers is conducted every 45-60 days as compliant with the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).
